Description

Program Manager – Alpharetta, GA area – Direct Hire              
We have a growing MFG client in the Alpharetta, GA area looking to hire a Sr. Program Manager to lead a team of Project Managers, and drive new product initiatives, timelines, schedules, etc... to create custom product offerings per client application.
 
Salary Range: $90-110k

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Manages projects by outlining project requirements in terms of resources, equipment, time and costs. Responsible for development of business requirements and overall project plans. Communicates project progress, findings, output and deployment plans to senior leadership and all constituents.
•    Leads (directly and indirectly) project teams in execution of projects. Confers with and advises team participants on policies and procedures, priorities and methods. Consults with personnel in other business areas to coordinate activities. Provides mentoring, coaching, support and guidance to project managers.
•    Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and tools supporting project and portfolio management.
•    Keeps all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout the project.
•    Proactively challenges the performance of current systems and processes and identifies risks and develops solutions and/or processes and ensures necessary risk mitigation steps are built into the processes.
•    Has significant independence and discretion in managing project schedules and setting deadlines.
•    Acts to resolve and escalate, as appropriate, conflicts, risks, issues and action items as brought forth by direct reports or project team.
•    Responds to issues or problems that arise in day-to-day project operations and/or during development efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    7+ years Project Management or related experience
•    Knowledge of Portfolio, Program, Project management applications
•    PMP certification (preferred)
